GARDEN VILLAGE GREEN TOURIST RESORT: Hospitality, the Way Nature Intended

Imagine a natural, green and fully-appointed tourist retreat, sited on a former nursery and nestled in a hillside on Lake Bled, the resort jewel of Slovenia, surrounded by the Julian Alps.

Imagine staying overnight in a simple yet luxurious treehouse overlooking a pristine, gurgling stream down below; or overnighting in a tent on one of a handful of individual wooden piers straddling the stream. And imagine dining in the resort’s greenhouse, a light and warm space of wood and glass, serving only the best of what nature has to offer in the form of local specialties and delicacies.
The Garden Village Green Tourist Resort, Bled is an innovative complex inspired by nature. Inspired because nature is everywhere, like the all-wood structures built from local larch wood surrounded by trees and shrubbery ripe with fruits, vegetables and herbs to the trout that swim the stream flowing out of the immaculate blue of Lake Bled. Guests here even enjoy their own solar-powered energy, pure well water, heating from heat pumps, charging stations for electric vehicles and more.
Six tree houses feature simple, raw exteriors and stylish interiors designed for comfort and relaxation. Appointments include a kitchenette, two sleeping room levels, even an exclusive reading hammock.
Nine tents on piers by the stream and fishpond, where the sounds of running water rock guests to sleep. Smaller tents with large beds are ideal for two; and can be merged into larger units for groups.

Like your nature with a touch of glamour? Six glamping tents for four, each on its own glade, are surrounded by bushes and trees that guarantee privacy; and guests even enjoy a bathroom with shower, and a glass roof that opens up for sky and star-gazing.
The little Green Shop offers guests and visitors the best homemade and local products, most of them entirely organic, from all over the country, like the best Karst prosciutto, pumpkin seed oil, honey, cheeses, dried fruits and vegetables, wild jams, spirits, wines and more.

Inside the Greenhouse restaurant and (authentic) working greenhouse herbs and vegetables grow up next to tables, where guests can enjoy smoked Bohinj trout pate or gnocchi with homemade pesto and goat cheese. Relax with a foot reflexology massage, or head out on foot, on a loaned bike or even an electric car, and explore all that Bled has to offer. Staying close to nature never felt so good – or so natural.
