Factory gate prices fell by 0.1% in July over June, the national Statistics Office report said on Monday, 20 August. Year-on-year, the cumulative increase of industrial prices stood at 4.3%, while prices were up by 2.6% since the beginning of the year.
At the monthly level, factory gate prices went up most in mining (0.2%) and electricity, gas and water supply (0.1%), while agriculture, hunting and forestry remained level compared to previous month. Manufacturing prices were meanwhile down 0.2%.
Year-on-year, electricity, gas and water supply prices were up 13.7%, while prices in agriculture, hunting and forestry increased by 11.8%. Prices in mining and manufacturing meanwhile edged up by 4.8% and 3.6%, respectively.
The minor decline in July's factory gate prices comes due to lower export prices in foreign markets, the Statistics Office said in the report.
