The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) on Wednesday, 2 February awarded nine managers for outstanding achievements in business and entrepreneurship in 2004.
The winners are Ivo Boscarol, the manager of ultra-light airplane maker Pipistrel; Janez Erjavec of the Pomurski sejem fairground company; Jernej Jakopin of the ship design company Seaway; CEO of oil trader Petrol Janez Lotric; and chair of plastic fittings maker Kovinoplastika Loz Alojz Mazij.
Awards were also conferred on Zdravko Pocivalsek of the Terme Olimia spa; Silvo Svete of the chemical company Belinka; chair of the bank Abanka Aljosa Tomaz; and Ivan Zidar, the chief exec of construction company SCT.

The Chamber of Commerce has been conferring the awards since 1969.
