Slovenia had been short-listed in six of the 15 ITTA award categories.
Apart from the award for Turizem Bohinj, Slovenia was also honoured for the STO's the Feel Slovenia, Experience Croatia promotional campaign, which the Slovenian national tourism board executed on the Chinese market in cooperation with Croatia's.
Turizem Ljubljana, Ljubljana's tourism board, was honoured in the best culinary destination category as a result of the Green Supply Chain project, as part of which hotels and restaurants in central Slovenia have been provided with simple, organised access to locally produced food at favourable prices.
WTM London, a leading global event for the travel industry, ended today. Slovenia was represented by 32 tourism companies and organisations under the STO's wing.
