BEST PRACTICE EXAMPLE

We have participated in the project for awareness-building, training and exchange of best practices in implementation of the directive commonly referred to as the RoHS directive (on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) and that has served to contribute to a high level of qualification of the companies in the Republic of Slovenia for carrying out technological partnerships in the market (product development, command of the technologies for the production of lead-free electronics, package of comprehensive services for customer according to the model EMS (electronic manufacturing services)).

We are planning a series of initiatives for partnerships in investing in common projects in infrastructure according to the recommendations set out in the ELECTRA report (energy, communications, lead markets, "green electronics"), a joint initiative by the EU’s electrical and electronic engineering industry and the European Commission – the report to be released at end-2009.
