Chamber of Accountant Services

The Chamber of Accounting Services comprises companies and entrepreneurs - sole proprietors which render services of bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, and tax advice and which are classified, according to the standard classification of services, under number 69.20.

 

Activities of the Chamber of Accounting Services encompass organising its members to carry out tasks commonly important for the development of operating conditions, keeping up with the legislation relevant for the work of accounting services providers, monitoring that quality standards are adhered to, enhancing training and education, carrying out examinations for the heads of accounting companies to enable them to acquire a cerfiticate issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and preparing the Catalogue of Qualified Accounting Services Providers.

 

The Chamber cooperates with its members, government institutions, professional organisations and associations and with similar companies and institutions.

 

              

Fields covered by the Chamber

 

1.Taking part in preparing regulations for the fields representing an important framework for the activities of accounting companies, by giving suggestions during the process of preparation and adoption of new regulations and during the process of amending existing regulations.     

2.Informing about regulatory novelties by presenting their contents and the way they will be implemented.

3.Enhancing activities aimed at achieving the best possible quality of services by measuring the clients satisfaction.  

4.Accelerating training and education in all areas by organising workshops and seminars.

5. Establishing minimum standards for the scope of knowledge required by an accounting services by designing a program for managing accounting companies.

6. Enhancing awareness about good quality accounting services by issuing the Catalogue of qualified accounting services providers.

7. Protecting its members against having to pay high indemnity in cases of professional errors by  negotiating favourable conditions with insurance companies.

8. Enhancing good business practices by informing its members in what way to operate to respect them.

9. Informing about changes, novelties, events in this line of business through Associations Slovenian  web pages.
