Development Group for vehicles, transport and logistics

 

Characteristics of the particular area in terms of its development potential

 

7 billion euros of which 95% of exports, Automotive industry 2 billion euros, of which suppliers 1 billion euros, Revoz 1 billion euros). Transport, infrastructure and fuels 5 billion euros. As illustration: 1 euro in revenues in Luka Koper (Port of Koper Plc) creates additional 7-8 euros in revenues, exports of logistic services is highly lucrative. This economic activity accounts for a hefty portion of GDP.

 

The activity included in the Development Group generates more than 22% of the country’s GDP. 2 to 3% investment in development in components translates to 140 to 200 million euros per year (it should be doubled as a minimum). The market shares of vehicles, transport and logistics are significant also at the European level.
