Characteristics of the particular area in terms of its development potential

 

Materials are considered to be infrastructure for all industrial branches. The areas included are: polymers, engineering ceramics, metal materials, textile materials, rubber, and coatings.

  • light-weight materials nanomaterials for surface coatings and protection of products made of wooden and wood particles,
  • nanocrystalline materials,
  • intelligent materials with sensory and actuating functions,
  • multifunctional materials,
  • materials with high strength and corrosion-resistant materials
