WHO IS JAPTI

At JAPTI - Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments - we strive to foster entrepreneurial spirit, strategically attract and retain investments and stimulate internationalization. With financing from the Ministry of the Economy, our staff tends to connecting foreign and local enterprises and global marketing of the business image of Slovenia.

JAPTI’ S MISSION

We believe that Europe’s economic landscape is changing faster than the political one. This is why our mission is to enhance Slovenia’s economic competitiveness through technical and financial assistance to entrepreneurs, businesses and investors. It is a point of contact for foreign investors, local exporters and importers, and it works closely with key players including the Slovenian Government and local authorities, as well as business, trade and professional associations.

JAPTI’S SERVICES

Our work is about growth and partner-matching. All our services are free of charge and include critical information to develop business strategies, understand sector trends, and make contact with authorities and supplier clusters. We provide:

• business specific information and company counseling;

• information on Slovenian suppliers;

• organization of fact-finding missions;

• links with industry and local authorities and

• advice and a hand in practical matters,

REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES OF THE SLOVENIAN ECONOMY ABROAD

The representative offices of the Slovenian economy established beyond the national borders (ROs) are the organizational units of the Agency in foreign countries.

Their principal task is to give a hand to Slovenian companies venturing on the road to company internationalisation, a part of their activities is also directed towards spurring interest of foreign investors in Slovenia.
